How to Export CSV Data from Uneekor Launch Monitors
Learn how to export shot data from Uneekor QED launch monitors for analysis with SHOTMETRICS AI. Note: Only QED devices with Ignite software are currently supported. EYE XO and EYE MINI devices using VIEW software are not compatible.
What You’ll Need
- Uneekor QED launch monitor
- Uneekor Ignite software
- Completed practice sessions with shot data
- Computer with Ignite software installed
About Uneekor Systems
Uneekor provides high-end launch monitor technology including the EYE XO, EYE MINI, and QED models. The data export method depends on which software your device uses:
- EYE XO and EYE MINI: Use VIEW software
- QED: Uses Ignite software
Understanding Uneekor Software
VIEW Software (EYE XO, EYE MINI)
VIEW software automatically stores shot data in a database file. No manual export is required - the data is directly accessible from the VIEW.bytes file on your computer.
Important: Each device/simulator must have its own profile in any analysis software for proper data import.
Ignite Software (QED)
Ignite software does not store sessions permanently. You must export data immediately after completing each session, or the data will be lost.
Step-by-Step Instructions
For VIEW Software (EYE XO, EYE MINI)
No CSV export is necessary for VIEW software. The shot data is stored automatically in:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\UNEEKOR\VIEW\VIEW.bytes
This file contains all your shot data and can be read directly by compatible analysis software. If you need the data in CSV format for other purposes, you would need to use third-party tools or contact Uneekor support for export options.
For Ignite Software (QED)
Critical: Export must be done immediately after each session as Ignite does not store session data.
- Complete Your Session: Finish your practice session in Ignite
- Access Export Function: Look for export options in the Ignite interface
- Choose Export Method: You can either:
- Export data to a CSV file on your computer
- Send the data to yourself via email (you’ll receive a CSV file)
- Save the File: The exported CSV file will contain your shot data
- Note Limitations: The CSV file from Ignite does not include:
- Club information (you’ll need to add this manually)
- Session date/time (you’ll need to record this separately)
Importing into SHOTMETRICS AI
For VIEW Software Users
VIEW software is not currently supported by SHOTMETRICS AI. The VIEW.bytes file format cannot be imported into SHOTMETRICS AI. Only Ignite software CSV exports are compatible.
For Ignite Software Users (QED Only)
- Launch SHOTMETRICS AI: Open SHOTMETRICS AI web application at app.shotmetrics-ai.com
- Go to Upload: Click Data Management -> Upload Data in the main menu
- Select CSV File: Click the “Select CSV File” button and choose your exported Ignite CSV file
- Add Missing Information: Since Ignite CSV files don’t include club data, you may need to:
- Manually specify which club was used for the session
- Add session date and time information
- Provide session details like ball type or conditions

Important Limitations and Considerations
VIEW Software
- No Direct CSV Export: VIEW doesn’t have a built-in CSV export function
- Proprietary Format: Data is stored in VIEW.bytes format
- Multiple Users: FILE contains data for all users; some software can filter by user
- Video Data: Shots can have left/right camera views, but external software typically supports only one
Ignite Software
- No Session Storage: Must export immediately after each session
- Missing Club Data: CSV export doesn’t include club information
- No Timestamps: Session date/time not included in export
- Limited Session Info: No rating, ball type, or comment data in export
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Problem: Can’t find export option in VIEW software
- Solution: VIEW doesn’t have CSV export - data is in VIEW.bytes file
Problem: Lost session data in Ignite
- Solution: Ignite doesn’t store sessions; must export immediately after practice
Problem: CSV file missing club information
- Solution: This is normal for Ignite exports; add club data manually during import
Problem: Can’t access VIEW.bytes file
- Solution: Check the correct path:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\UNEEKOR\VIEW\VIEW.bytes
Data Quality Best Practices
For All Uneekor Devices
- Proper Setup: Ensure device is properly calibrated before each session
- Environmental Conditions: Maintain consistent lighting and setup
- Clean Ball Contact: Focus on quality shots for best data accuracy
- Device Positioning: Follow manufacturer guidelines for optimal placement
For Ignite Users
- Immediate Export: Export data right after completing each session
- Session Documentation: Manually record club used, date, time, and conditions
- File Organization: Use descriptive names like “QED_7Iron_2024-12-19.csv”
- Backup Strategy: Keep copies of exported files as Ignite won’t store them
Next Steps
Important: Only QED devices with Ignite software are compatible with SHOTMETRICS AI. EYE XO and EYE MINI users with VIEW software cannot currently import their data.
For QED/Ignite users:
- Plan Export Strategy: Establish routine for immediate post-session export
- Data Management: Organize exported files with clear naming conventions
- Regular Analysis: Import data consistently for trend tracking and improvement monitoring
